Waiting at the Door
I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand
It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart

I have never forgotton something your mother said "you were not at the wrong place at the wrong time - you were at the right place at the right time".
Unfortunatey, another evil person was at that place at that time. My son is the same age as you and I wept as I heard your father talk about your school things that were still in their wrappers - as I had just purchased my sons's school things. I wept when your mother described rubbing your foot when the doctors were trying to save you.
I am so sorry that you never lived your life in the way that you had the right to do so, and my heart goes out to your family.
May you rest in peace and your family also find peace.
